Prizegiving and Commemoration 2021

A marvellous celebration was in order at our traditional Prizegiving and Commemoration Ceremony. We bid 'well done' and said a fond 'farewell' to our excellent Year 13 Leavers.

Although this year saw a slightly different celebration, due to the restrictions of COVID-19, it did not dispel the wonderful atmosphere and the beautiful weather. Staff, parents and students gathered in The Quad, dressed in their formal attire, and were treated to canapes, drinks and of course strawberries.

Headmistress, Mrs Raraty, and Chair of Governors, Mrs Bruce, opened the ceremony as proud parents and staff watched on. Head Girl, Faye, emotionally spoke on behalf of her Year Group about her wonderful time at Malvern St James, thanking the staff and her parents for providing her with fantastic opportunities in the years she has been a pupil here.

It was evident, through the prizes awarded, that they are not only a group of bright, thoughtful young ladies, but a group of academic achievers, who face challenges head-on.

We, at Malvern St James Girls' School, are extremely proud of these girls who are about to embark on exciting journeys. They are now all part of our wonderful Old Girls' Association and we look forward to hearing how they get on in their next stages of life.
